| Outlook 2003 : Don't change my signature!
I want to stop users from changing their signatures in Outlook 2003.
Yes, I have a DC in place, but all users are given Administrative Privilidges on their local PC. For Example, there's a "registry hack" so they can't change the Windows XP theme, so I was thinking along them sorts of lines.
Any input appreciated!

Woa. Why give all users workstation admin privileges? Seems risky.
In my new line of working with a school, and all the finicky and "cheaply coded" software that they buy, I've only run across only one program (there are about 50 that we use) that a user needed elevated privileges, and even then - it was only the "power user" group.
WS admin seems like a lot of power to give to everyone.

Because nobody here is under the age of 40.
I don't have issues with people deleting things off the network, even with +100 users. I do have an issue with idiots wanting to amend their signature to "be cool". |

I've just tried to change the "group" that the user belongs in, and no matter what I do, it still allows you to edit the options in Outlook 2003, so, I'm still stumped :-) |

Roaming profiles is something we don't use, however I have experimented with them and know how they work.
Can you please clarify how that would stop individuals changing settings within their Outlook 2003 client? |
