I have norton anti viruis thrrough Yahoo hope that can help and plaese reply ! | Hi Shadow,
I have another solution for you to try. You have Norton Internet Security which does contain Adware and Spyware removal.
The process I am going to propose involves running the Norton Security scan. However, prior to me giving you the instructions for this process, please do the following tasks first.
1. Clear all Temporary Internet Files from both browsers.
2. Clear all Windows Temp files.
3. Run Windows Update to make sure you have all of the latest patches applied.
Norton Security Scan instructions 1. Double click on your desktop, Open New Folder,
2. Name it Scan on your desktop
3. Open a Mozilla browser page
4. Click open url: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/ns...curityScan.exe
5. Click Save File
6. Open
7. On next screen which is named: WinZip Self Extractor:Norton Security Scan.exe
Click Browse and browse for your desktop, Select Scan Folder
8. click unzip
9. Go to Scan Folder and click open nss.exe
10. Choose Full System Scan
11. Click Start Scan This scan will download all the very latest LiveUpdates and scan your system using them for infection.
This scan can be run in normal mode or in safe mode
Remember if you find that you have an infection and this can be removed.
You will want to run through the scan again to make absolutely certain that it has fully scanned your machine.
If you could please try this process and let me know the results , I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Mike |
