Did you even bother trying any of the suggestions from the threads provided? |

Man this advice seem to be redundant
Run all your scans in safe mode, run hijack this and use the analyzer. Remove the bad files its suggests, make sure when deleting the bad files make sure you turn of system restore. If none of the spyware tools work try an online virus scanner like trendmicro's housecall. Google "IEAV.EXE" there are manual removal instructions, just make sure you don't d/l anything from any sites you don't know and don't trust. |

If you don't have that exact variant and feel you have something else then again run all the scans mentioned above.

| have same thing
Have same popup on our XPsp2, IE7
Have run adaware and spybotSD, in safe mode --system retore was disabled, symantec corp 10 .
All now say all clear but popups still arrive. Think it's TIME to re-install IE7, looks like an infected activex add-on, but that'll break acro reader, java, flash and shockwave, will also reinstall them unless someone has another fix? |
