Braviax cured

I hope this is in the correct section, if not, i apologise in advance.

Unusually, this time ime not here for help, this time i hope to be able to return the help ive been given here in the past, so i hope this helps some one.

I got the Braviax.exe bug, ime not sure if its a virus, or Spyware, either way i beat the sucker :d

All i did was to down load Spy Doctor that was (supposed) to be free, i installed it, and it found 5 Spyware that Spybot, Ad-Aware and free AVG, SDfix and combofix did not, but when i clicked on the remove button, a notice came saying that i had to pay for it, the only two options were continue or go on line to pay for it.

So i was stuck, when i tried the continue button, nothing happened, when i tried the internet button, nothing happened either. I could not close either the Spy doctor results dialogue box, nor the dialogue box to continue, or go to the internet to pay.

So i crashed the computer with the reset button, figuring i had down loaded a corrupt Spy doctor file, i deleted spy doctor i had just installed and down loaded it again, but it went just the same way as the last attempt.

I crashed the computer again with the reset button, and when it booted up, the pest was gone, no more red circle with a white cross in the centre and no more annoying bubble every minute or so telling me windows had found a spyware, and offering to down load specialist anti spyware programme

It may have been cured after the first attempt, but i really cant remember if that is so.

I did do a search here for a fix, but the search found no entries regarding Braviax.exe so i Googled and got some info there, which included trying Spyware doctor.

This scumware also goes under the names of cru629.dat and usrs32.dat malware.

I cant explain how it worked, but it certainly did, i hope this helps some one else, if it does, please let us know here, and i will feel useful for a change.
