DummyWindows.exe

Last night when I logged off as well as the "explorer.exe" closing window popping up I had something called "DummyWindows", I've scanned with Avast and Spybot S&D and I can't find any problems.
Does anyone know what this is or what I can download to scan for it?

never heard of it, it might be apart of a new program you/another person has installed????

I had the same problem. I think it comes with one of those "slimeys" programs. Download hijackthis and do a scan to find it's location. Then start up in safe mode and delete it. Mine was in c:/windows/system32

I actually had to get rid of it twice cause my little bro always downloads crap from flash game sites. Cyber Defender (antivirus) also picked it up, although Adaware, Spybot, and Websweeper missed it.

Cybder Defender Trial

^^ It's only good for 30 days, I couldn't find anything longer, but itll hopefully get rid of if it's the same thing, or you can try the hijackthis method.
