Ok guys get Spybot search and destroy, or go with Matron said and get Spysweeper, they will both help you fix this problem that seams to be spreading.

I also had a similar problem, a while back i had a message sent to all of my email contacts saying -join flazoo - which having run a search looked like a virus, i didnt think much of it then it happened again about 2 weeks ago. Now whenever i try to go into my email it says there was a hotmail error nothing to do with my computer. It works occasionally in explorer but never in google chrome. Any idea how i can sort this out, did a security test and it came up with no threats. |

| Not a virus (not from our computers)

I have the same problem using Yahoo mail !!
And I'm sure its not a trojan because i have a mac, so any windows virus cannot affect me. But I think I found the answer, unfortunately there's no solution.
here's the post:
" There is probably nothing you can do. It is unlikely these e-mails are originating from your computer. They are likely originating from a PC infected with a virus or trojan that sends out e-mails using forged return addresses from that person's address book.
If you can get a complete copy of one of these e-mails with all the headers, you should be able to satisfy yourself that the originating IP address is not your computer. " |
