Nile Virus Outbreak trojan??

My company's IT Dept sent a notice out today that there is trojan outbreak.
It is spread via email and you may receive an email from cnn.com, msnbc.com, Microsoft.com or other news agency type addresses the subject of the email is “Nile Virus outbreak – Breaking News”

I cannot find anything online about this at all. Can anyone provide more info on this or confirm if this is real?? Thank you.

Massive faux-CNN spam blitz uses legit sites to deliver fake Flash

I've spotted it a few times, its a poor spoof the addresses don't look anything like the real thing so its pretty easy to spot. Another member posted a video that showed what happened when you click the links. It gives you an active x download for a flash upgrade (or something else) even in FF.

edit: not sure how you couldn't find anything online about this, I searched "cnn virus" and got a ton of hits
