sws antispyware 2007 pop ups

i am plagued with pop ups.
most of the pop ups am getting keep telling me that my pc is about to crash and always a screen from windows security centre saying spyware has invaded my computer and is slowing it down.

each time this happens, am invited to download SWS antispyware 2007 repair my computer. The file download security warning shows it is from www.spyware-security.com, i have downloaded it.

That is when i started getting even more pop ups, from banks, supermarkets, mobile phone companies and it seem to be linked with with me launching internet browser.

i have scan with Mcaffe and AVG who can't find it or anything else, and the pop ups keeps coming in.

Welcome to TIMO, first off don't ever d/l a program just because you get a pop-up telling you to. That was your biggest mistake! Second the removal info for similar programs like AV 2008 IEAV.exe ect has been posted several times and should apply to this rouge spyware as well.

turn off system restore when you delete the files, viruses will hide there and restoring to an older point is more than likely not going to help. Run all of your scans and remove any bad files in safe mode.
Run hijackthis, paste your log file here HijackThis Logfileauswertung remove anything it says is nasty. For IE AV and AV 2008 specifically try SmitFraudFix its know to fix that particular bug
