| Facebooks' new TOS: they KEEP all of your content. O, also you agree to arbitrate any problems you have . As Consumerist says "good luck with that" .

Ohhhhhh glad I don't upload anything to them anymore.
Flickr I believe has the same policies too. Ive noticed that when I closed my account down once, and opened it back up everything was still there. It really sucks that you cant delete it |

after that, I just deleted all my pics of the 3D stuff I did. leaving only unimportant images on facebook now.
thats kind of BS, they should of sent out some sort of notice to members & let them decide with in a reasonable amount of time to delete or keep their images on the site.

And second, if that Facebook content was not public, the site will respect the member's chosen privacy settings. In other words, if your profile and the photos you have uploaded to it are only accessible to people on your friends list, Facebook says it does not have the right to show those photos to anyone outside your friends list.
| at least thats their official statement |

For now... but since their being that "honest" & open about their intentions, why couldn't they have simply issued a statement or email to all users several weeks in advance of notification that part of the TOS was changing?
granted they may be sincere about the above statement, but the actions prior to that is enough to make someone think twice about it. |

nope... I'm usually set to login automatically, so it goes straight to my page.
though sometimes its reset for whatever reasons & I have to type in my login, but even with that said, twice in the last 2 weeks I've had to do that & no welcome and new TOS changes/notice. |

A little off-topic maybe...
I was very surprised while browsing around my Google account, when i discovered that i can see what i searched for 3 years ago.
They keep every query! 0_O
Anyways, a good practise is do not write or upload to internet anything you don't want to turn public... |
