Privacy Center
I'm currently on my Guest account because due to Privacy Center I cannont log onto my Main account.
When I boot up my computer It auto logs onto my main account. A fake spyware removal program called Privacy center pops up and starts *scanning* my computer. During this time i cannot click anything. Even when it's done i can't click anywhere without getting an error sound. I use Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end the process. But now my Explorer process isn't running so I cann;t see any icons or any panels to click on.
I finally learned how to log off my maina ccount via task manager and logged onto ym guest account. I downloaded tools saying they delete Privacy Center but I need to be logged onto an admin account to install the program.
I have tried to Add or Remove program PC, wont work. I tried manually deleting PC. Access denied. I scanned the PC folder with Antivira, no threat detected.
I booted in safe mode and PC still pops up. And i forgot the password to the "Administrator" account. And it isn't any of the default passwords (I.E blank or admin etc.)
Anyone have ANY idea how to delete this virus?

You should scan your computer with Malwarebytes or super anti-spyware removal tools.

Resolved?
Any resolution? I am stuck with the same problem. Installing a new anti malware program obviously is not the solution as the op stated that they could not click anywhere to do anything.

Had exactly the same problem a few minutes ago, that's what worked for me (win xp):
- end the process like u did
- in Windows Task Manager (alt-ctrl-del) click File - New task - msconfig
- click on Expand File, open Program Files and delete the folder with Privacy Center
- reboot
You should be able to start windows normally now.

I can't do any of the above because when I turn on my laptop and after entering my password, it automatically opens privacy center and won't go any further, I tried to boot in "safe mode" same thing, won't let me past Privacy Center.
Any suggestions would be of great help

Hi, and WELCOME TO TECHIMO...!
It sounds like there is some sort of conflict or error, this is causing the computer to have a
BSOD
and the default setting in M$ is for the computer to automatically restart itself.
The first thing I would try to do would be to change this setting, but if you aren't able to get to the logon screen, then you will need to boot into Safe Mode first.
When you power the computer up, keep pressing the <F8> button until you get an options page. In here you should see the option to start in Safe Mode. This will only load selected drivers, meaning that it shouldn't have a BSOD.
You should then be able to get to log into your OS. Right-click "My Computer" and select Properties, then go to the "Advanced" tab, in the "Startup and Recovery" section (at the bottom) click on "Settings".
This should open up another window, under "System Failure" un-tick the "Automatically restart" box.
This should at the very least enable you to see what is causing the computer to BSOD...I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

A lot of first time posters here.
Anyway if the privacy center appears even when you enter safe mode then you should probably consider reinstalling windows.
