Angry "Virus scan" Pop up - Redirecting from websites. Help?

This stupid pop up thing keeps coming up every time I try and browse a website. It tells me that harmful viruses have been found and that if I download it it will get rid of them >___>; I press the 'x' and another full screen pop-up comes up showing me all the drives that have been infected along with how many trojans are in my folders [some folders which I do not even have, may I add] and in the corner it has my IP address and the town I live in in red. I cancel it again and another pop-up says that I should download otherwise my computer is at risk... blah blah.

Has anyone had this before and is there any way to stop it? I never usually get pop-ups because I have them blocked... and this only seems to be happening on one website [which I use frequently and this has never happened before.]. It also happens on both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Sorry for the rambling... I've just woken up and I want to use the internet .___.; lol.

Sounds like you've been hit with some rouge anti-virus program WARNING: Fake Anti-Spyware, Pop-ups You need to scan your computer with a good spyware program like SpyBot S&D, Ad-Aware or the one most users have luck with Malwarebytes.org

I've had the best luck downloading malwarebytes to a flashdrive on an uninfected computer, then installing and running it on the infected computer while in Safe Mode (F8). After a scan, reboot, update malwarebytes online, then run it again.

If you don't want to install the anti-spyware software directly, you can also try SAS's Free online scanner.
