I just got ride of a nasty trojans and was wondering what anti-virus you guys are using ? By guys I mean guys and girls,

Avast for the AV
Malwarebytes and Spybot for the other nasties

I also use AVG for AV, and I run the above and also CCleaner full name = Crap Cleaner to do 'housework'...

There is not much reason to not have some form of basic anti-virus/malware installed on a Windows box. For example, I rarely use ClamWin for much more than an occasional memory scan, but I keep it installed anyway. Might as well. It is not memory resident and only takes a little hard drive space.
Admittedly, I currently have no a/v protection on my primary desktop, though Debian running on an Itanium 2 workstation is not exactly a high-profile target vector. |

I used to use panda internet security since 2006 but stopped as it was not compatable with windows 7 (this was about 6 months ago so they may have updated it).
I never had any problems. |
