Following the release of Windows XP, Microsoft implemented the Security Development Lifecycle in the building of Windows Vista, touting a tangibly superior operating system in terms of security. [more]
Windows 7 probably has all kinds of spyware communicating with Microsoft. ITS THE WORST OS FOR PRIVACY!! (Even if doing nothing wrong,PRIVACY SHOULD BE YOURS ON YOUR COMPUTER!)

    1. Why would the NSA put in a backdoor when their bottom line is securing this countries' computing security? You do realize that government workers use Windows right? That means any backdoor could be used by any other country to gain access to government information.

    2. Why engineer a backdoor? If some single person can go through and exploit critical vulnerabilities in Windows that allow a remote attacker to control the system, how would the NSA have any problem breaking in?

    3. It's called a firewall, learn how to use it.

NOT TO quibble, but US govt workers still use WinNT, Win2K, and Win Server. A few of us got WinXP last year, but no one is holding their breath to get Win7. . .

The NSA can invade any home system it wants. It does not need back doors.

If you wish to protect yourself from them an investment of about 10 billion dollars for security ought to cover you for a few months.

Q: Who developed SOAP? And is you firewall immune? ^^

LMAO at the government's "security solutions". When they finally get around to stopping spear fishing from Aisa, then I'll think different of their "capabilities".

Untill then, snort and live disks work hand in hand.

spear phishing is definately a real threat and sometimes they're very good, and unfortunately as much as gov't tries to educate (at least around here)... lets face it the public is ignorant and doesn't care.
