    windows 7 previously opened file list?

     
    How do i clear the drop down list in the open file window that is located at the file name bar?previously opened files appear here in wmp vlc etc.In previous versions of windows it could be cleared through the properties/start menu option off the task bar.This option no longer exists in windows 7.
