    Exclamation HELP

     
    I have a Compaq - Presario Laptop with Intel® Celeron® Processor and lately i have been having some BIG problems. I have been the getting blue screen of death. The error messages have said all softs of things like: pfn list corrupt, page fault in non page area, system service exception, and memory manggement. Also it wont let me install any software or updates, it always says "corrupt file" or some error has occurred. Please help i have no idea what to do???!!!

    Sounds like reinstall time to me. Do you have your recovery disc?

    Even though it SOUNDS like bad memory, I would still run Whocrashed to get a laymans take on those bluescreens..
    Try running memtest...
    FIRST however, I suggest backing up ANYTHING important...
