    Need help to decrypt a file...

     
    I forgot what software i used to encrypt a couple of files I know the encryption key and I have a backup of the encrypted files but my hd crashed and now I have no idea what the software was called...

    Anybody has any ideas? Any software that i can run to find out what encryption method was used?

    After the file is encrypted did it keep it's original extension? What is the extension?
