Exclamation Public Charging Kiosks May Steal Your Data

The public Kiosks used to charge up your gear may be set up to steal your data Public Charging Kiosks May Steal Your Data

According to Krebs on Security, when you hook up your cell phone to a charging kiosk, you may be getting more than power. The kiosk could be configured to download your photos, contacts, email attachments, and other data, right through your data port. It could even be used to install malware on your device. This is pretty alarming because generally even security pros don't think twice about connecting to these things when they need some juice.
    Beware of Juice-Jacking

BE safe! As for me, Im off to build me a Public charging Kiosk - you know, to help people charge their gear!

I'll bet you can get (or make) USB cables that only have power wires, but no data wires.

I can make some and market them as "secure smart phone charging cables" with special security features to keep hackers out. And I'd only charge them double the normal price.
