your Facebook profile is a trove of data that can be analyzed to find patterns and stats about your online life (or your friends' lives).

A new tool from Wolfram Alpha churns out an extensive and personalized analytics report all about you based on Facebook data. [more]
Everybody else is analyzing peoples data!!

It might be useful for people to analyze their own and see whats out there!! (Not that they care, sadly most do not anymore and its scary)

Funny that despite your concerns about privacy and safety via FB that you would recommend a person to run a FB App that could potentially be used to steal info...

If you’re doing this for the first time, you’ll be prompted to authenticate the Wolfram Connection app in Facebook, and then sign in to Wolfram|Alpha (yes, it’s free). And as soon as you’ve done that, Wolfram|Alpha will immediately get to work generating a personal analytics report from the data it can get about you through Facebook.

Though I doubt it would be used for nefarious purposes, but considering your sentiments towards FB from prior posts, I wonder why you would even suggest such a thing?

Besides 90% of the data mentioned in that Blog is useless to the average person, aside from those, Like FACEBOOK, looking for data to be used in what to advertise to people on various pages.

The more active a person is on FB, the more data that will be displayed, but there is NO way to control it, or how it will be used to direct advertising data towards a person, thus its ultimately useless to most people to even analyze. Aside from simply ceasing to stop using FB.

Which FB itself is slowly doing on its own, changing Privacy settings and policies on clients with out notifying them, eventually FB will in the end shoot themselves one too many times, at least until a new Top dog can take over, Google+ I feel will always be a 2nd best to FB, or whoever tops them, and will never take over the #1 spot, but anyways.
