I have a home network linked by a wireless Linksys Router-2 pcs. Also have ZoneAlarm. Initially, grc.com's Shields Up Test showed my pc in a stealth mode.This was the orginal Shields Up test which tested only a handful of ports. The new Shields Up Test looks at 1,056 ports. I am "stealthed" in all but ports 0 and 1. I have wrote GRC and Linksys but to no avail-no reply. My question is-
what can be done to stealth these ports? Thanks.

Isn't zonealarm rule based? You can just create new rules to block all traffic to ports 0 and 1, which should effectively stealth them.

However, being stealth isn't such a great deal, imo... At least if I was a hacked I'd know that today almost everyone stealths everything so I wouldn't rely on ping replies to know whether a computer actually is there or not.
