    Unknown Virus

Recently I have not been able to send email or post on a forum. Its like it wont let me submit anything on the internet. The same result for everything is timing out. Im not sure if its a virus or something. I ran a full system scan and nothin came up.

Are you using any firewall software? Do you have a router?

Try disabling BlackIce too see if it doesn't go through. You could also try connecting directly to your modem to make sure it's not your router.

Do you have just the one PC that is having problems?

Ok it went through... But now I have no firewall on and it has never done this before. Looks like I can turn off my laptop now.

I would say it's probably just something w/ BlackIce. Connect back to your router and leave BlackIce off. I've never used it, so I can't help you much w/ it.

This is the part where I brag about Sygate Personal Firewall Available for FREE of course from here at the bottom.
