    MAC OSX drive not readable...

I have a few MAC's at work, ya I know

Here is the deal, we have a external hard drive connected by firewire to the MAC laptop, the external case was needed for another drive and the original drive taken out.

Data was needed off of the orginal drive and was placed in a PC to see if it could be read.......it couldn't. So it was placed back into a MAC, could not be read, placed back into the external drive and still could not be read.......serious data lose here so I need to be able to at least scan the drive and see what is wrong...

I am no MAC guy, at all, notta, zip.......so what to do?? I tried Partition Magic 7 to try to scan it, it sees the drive as Dynamic but can't do anything to it....

    PLEASE HELP!

No PC operating system can natively read HFS, so this is not surprising.

What did you do to the drive while it was in the PC? What kind of drive is it?

Oh I know that Windows will not read the MAC file system but was hoping some utility would....nothing was done on the drive to "force" it to be read.....

I was hoping for some scan utility for a MAC FS or something, I can run it on a MAC as well if needed......

BLAW, MACs rule! HELL that is.......

Hmmm, that is what I thought too but I tried knoppix and it could not read the drive....

I need to repair the FS so it can be read by something...........
