Boot off external USB HDD?

Is this possible?

If I have an external hard drive enclosure that uses a USB 2.0 cable, is it possible to boot from this with no other hard drives?

Just curious...

you bios has to support it. on startup it should say click f1 or esc or something for setup...go into setup, go to boot, and see if you can add or select boot from usb or something like that. other than that..i'm not sure if it's possible.

Ok, I'll have to check out my bios when I get home.
I will also read through that MS page to see if I can find any info that I need.

My motherboard is fairly new (MSI KT-6), so I'm hoping that it supports it.
