| DVD+RW wont read anything
I just bought a I/O magic External Dual Layer DVD+RW Drive. I plug it in to computer running windows xp that has usb 2.0, it installs the drivers and displays the drive in my computer. When i put in any type of blank media and attempt to start the burning process(with 4 different programs) it reads
"Please insert a blank *media* into drive (H
I searched through some other forums, found various cures, none have worked. I tried playing a store bought dvd movie, didnt work, becuase it wont read those either.. i right clicked the drive, went to recording, checked ''Enable CD recording on this drive." That allowed me to open a folder of the drive, but displays no information. I used ForceASPI to install a new layer, i checked it with aspichk. so far no luck. I hope this isn't a bad DVD+RW drive... |
