How does one replace Sony Vaio DVD/CD's
Looking at it without opening the box it seems they are quite different from normal drives? Are the faceplates removable or something?"No Sig pending"

What model Sony system do you have? Do you have a photo of it that you could post on here for us to see?Logic shall prevail.

Sony VAIO Digital Studio PCV-RX850 : Desktop
Cant find a good picture online, short of it is from the outside the DVD tray is all that you see and the end of the tray is extra thick. What I'm thinking is it's a normal drive just set back behind the PC faceplate. The extented thickness drive faceplate might be able to be attached to any drive?"No Sig pending"
