Change from IDE to SATA
Some help please.
I have only one hard drive in my system and it's on IDE1 (primary of course) and I have two DVD's, a R/W and ROM on IDE2. Now if I remove the IDE hard drive and install a SATA hard drive do I need to or should I move the DVD drives from IDE2 to IDE1?

No, neither one will effect the other. They are supposed to do that.

it would'nt hurt... but there would only be a difference when burning multiple dvds or gonig from 1 dvd to another, probobally not much though, the ide bandwidth is more than the speed of both drives put together
Hey who turned sigs on?

When the seconds count, police are only minutes away. Or, in this case, they're never coming. Police are not manned well enough to act as a decent deterrent, and their main job is to come to a crime...
