    DMA and UDMA on same IDE channel

     
    I know this has been asked before, and there was a debate about it, but I couldnt find the thread So i'm going to ask it again...

    If you have a ATA100 drive as primary and a ATA33 drive as secondary, then the both are limited to ATA33 speeds right?

    Because they are capable of two different speeds, does it matter where they are on the ribbon?
