sataII uses ncq which will give you a better performance increase over 10k rpm sataI. I'd get about an 80 gig for your os and programs, and then however big of a drive you'd like for your other stuff (both sataII for ncq or native command queuing)  . Plus...they're cheeper than the raptors for the most part!!
also...what are you getting for a processor, memory, and video card, as those would be much more likely to effect the speed  . |
