Upgrading capacity of a Lacie Drive
I have a 1TB Lacie drive and have reached the ceiling on it and am wondering if it's possible to swap out the drives for larger capacity drives with no issues, or if there will be a firmware issue.... I wouldn't think it would be an issue, but it's an expensive test to undertake if it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it's a Raid 0 inside the box.

If I can that would be great, the 1 year warranty already expired and I already had to swap out the two fans that burned up. (The fan headers fried too so I had to by splices and splice into the 12v lines.) Cools much better and quieter now with SilenX than with the OEM cooling solution.

perhaps i misunderstood you. I thought you were trying to say being fat is not a disease. If not, then sorry.
Obesity is officially a disease.
