    Perpendicular Harddrives

Here is a video on perpendicular hard drive technology. This provides more space on HD but cost a lot to make. This is one reason why laptop can surpass 100GB.

This reminds me of the video "im just a bill" video.

I cant wait for Hitachi to realse one in a 3.5" HD for desktops so that I can get a terabyte drive for the price of a 500gb HD.

    That would be nice.
I dont know how I'm doing it, but I've filled up my servers, my laptop, and my 60GB external hard drive in less than 6 months.
Must be something about high-speed cable internet and no real life that makes you a turbo downloader or something.

I'm looking at upgrading my laptop's wimpy 40GB to a not-much-better 80GB. 80GB is the limit supported according to HP.
