Is there just a free SMART monitoring program, kind of like MBM for hard drives?
Also, I heard that it was possible to monitor drive temperature through IDE. Does SMART do that too?

There is a little freeware program Speedfan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php that provides a good deal of useful info - possibly can quiet your system - and does also gather SMART data from the hard drives including temps.WHUT?

Just got an email back from Alfredo regarding a question I had about labels in the program. Turns out you can change each one to read as you like by going to configure, highlight the one you want to change, hit F2, then type in the new label. Cool.WHUT?
