Ok i have a raptor now that is dead. My friend is offering to let me buy his old one while my other is being sent in. I was wondering will 2 raptors raid-0 be faster than lets say two 500's raid-0 3.0gbs sata??????

Yeah, the 2 raptors in raid anything is normally the fastest you can get.

yeah two raptors will we crazy fast. but i suggest spending money in other places first if your computer is not already top notch as money spent on a processor or more ram and stuff will have larger performance gains compared to raptors in raid 0 cuz they are expensive..

well i have 2 gigs of ram. A e4300 1.8 @ 2.4ghz. and a 7950gt im only buying the other raptor for max of $60. So not all that expensive.
