Quick Partition Question

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and have a 120GB hard drive.

The drive currently has 2 partitions; one 60GB and one 45GB and then a random unallocated space of 9GB.

Is there a way to merge the 45GB and the 9GB spaces together without deleting anything off of the 45GB partition?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Only thing I can think of is to backup an image of the partition and restore it after you reformat the partition to the size you want. True Image by Acronis let you change the size of the partition when you restore it.

Is this a ready made pc and the 9gigs might be the restore partition?

Vista has a built in partition manager...I believe you'll have to make a partition out of the 9gigs and can then merge it.

Never mind... If I had just paid attention to the options I would of noticed the "Extend Volume" option. Thanks for your help.

Use the software Acronis disk director suite.It deals with partition management.U can combine the partition so easily with that....
