USB Drive

Anybody got any clues of what to do if my USB drive is only showing up in Desice manager and not in my computer or disk management?

Tried reinstalling it, but still no joy

Is this a hard disk drive connected to USB?

If so it has to be initialized in computer management.

yes it is connected to usb, got 4 ports and tried it in each one

but still cant see it in disk management, not even without a letter....

hmmm, so its connected and you go to disk management that I shown and you don't get a message saying the disk needs to be initialized?

You are using the supplied cable without an extension?

Do you have a driver disk for this USB hard drive perhaps?
