    lOST ALL DATA ON THE HARD DISK

     
    I have 4 partitions on on my hard disk having windows xp installed on it and left a 5th 50GB unallocated space , i used partition magic 7 to use it as NTFS
    partition. I did'nt made a recvery disk as prompted and restarted
    than suddenly power failed and than when i restarted the one of my 4 partitions was lost.And was shown as pqrp partition. After that accidently i chose the boot order as pqrp partition ..
    Now when i start the comp mesage is displayed "MTBR is missing"
    press ALT+CRTL+DEL .
    Now what should i do? Please help me i have lost important data...

    Welcome to TechImo

    Take a look in your BIOS to see if the right HD is showing in the configuration. Sometimes the boot sequence get change and it could do that on bootup. To access the BIOS, depending of the brand of your computer, it could be hitting the Del key on bootup or take a look at your screen and see if there is any information about entering the SetUp for the right key to use.
