Partitioning and other Hard Drive questions

Is there some software to Partition a HDD while running Windows, or does it have to done through DOS?

I had 2 HDD's one being 80GB IDE other 80GB SATA. I had the OS on the IDE before with the drive almost full so it was getting sluggish. I put the new OS on the 500GB SATA now, I want to Partition 10GB for the OS and keep the other 490GB to other media.

Also should I use a Raid Array or just keep it as it is?

Ok I remembered about PartitionMagic, so I downloaded that. Still need to know about the Raid Array?

I don't think you can run RAID on one sata drive and one IDE drive. I don't think motherboards support that. Or are you trying to use a RAID card?
Honestly, I'd just leave it how it is..

Sorry for the confusion it's on 2 SATA's. A 500Gb and 80GB.
