Problem with D: drive
I have a desktop with (2) HD's C: is the operating system drive, and the D: is the storage drive. The computer is acting like the D: is not there. When you go to My Computer it shows the D: drive but will not allow you to right click or double click on it. Is there a way you can run check disk on the d: drive even though it has no operating system files on it?

Sure!
To repair errors, locate bad sectors, and recover readable information, just open a command prompt window (start-run, type cmd and click OK) and type chkdsk d: /r.
