My Raptor has the lowest data transfer rate, probably due to platter capacity, but has significantly better access time. It's also the oldest of the bunch.

what settings in the benchmark should we be setting for it, for Transfer Rate Accuracy/Speed and block size?
of just use default settings?

stock bench settings...
here's my Seagate ES.2 250GB 32MB cache 7200RPM drive, and my 2x Western Digital 250GB 16MB Cache 7200RPM drives in RAID 0 (one is a Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS, the other is a newer revision of the same drive)
did 2 runs of the RAID 0, one at stock bench settings the 2nd at 8MB block size and test speed set for most accurate.
seems the RAID 0's CPU usage drops by more than 50% on the 2nd run, but over all speeds seem to be close to the same.
Oh, forgot, Windows XP (MCE 2005) |

I'll probably be selling my Raptor in case anyone's interested. |

ok, I removed the OS used, else it wouldn't fit 1 line.
I also added the usernames of the people posting scores, pretty handy. LOL Can't figure out why I didn't think of that in the 1st place
Anyway, stats are updated.
