Ok I've fought with this thing as long as I can
Here is the deal. I intalled XP Home on this computer that had Linux on it. I formatted the drive through windows, and installed, and it worked good for a couple of weeks. Then it would give me the error that C:/windows/system32/ntfs.sys was missing or corrupt press r to repair. Press r it would restart and then go into the windows did not start correctly please choose..blah blah blah.
So this morning it wouldn't even boot at all, just kept restarting. So I put in the windows CD, which it won't boot from for some reason, and press ESC and choose CD-ROM and it hangs at KERNEL DEBUGGER.DLL ,can't even get to the place to format the drive, finally I pull the CD out and restart and leave. When I get back windows is working. GREAT! I drop in the CD and choose to upgrade to the same CD I used to install in the first place
Still hanging at KERNEL DEBUGGER.DLL
I change HDD,hoping the other drive is flaky, sure enough, it formats and right into copying files....WHOO HOO! 2.5 hours later it finishes copying files

This is P4 1.8GHZ computer, should have been surfing the net in 1 hour.
So it goes through the agreement and all the way to the restart computer and then the same,C:/windows/system32/ntfs.sys was missing or corrupt press r to repair comes up,and it will not do anything other than that. I try to go back and format again and it hangs at KERNEL DEBUGGER.DLL and does nothing.
What do I do now?
Thanks
