Excuse my vast ignorance, everyone, this is going to look brutal.
So I'm running off of Windows XP Pro 64bit and it turns out that one of my favourite games' anti-hack dislikes it. A friend of mine suggested creating a spare partition with Windows XP Home 32bit as well as placing my game in there with it so I can play it.
I hope that was kind of clear. . .
In addition, I have two partitions already set. One is rather small and contains my OS, drivers, etc, the other has all my other games and consists of another 134GB (74 or so is free). Is there possibly a way to (relatively) painlessly get an OS on a new partition with my favoured game?
Thanks a ton in advance and I apologize sincerely if this is the wrong section. |

Hello,
Be sure you install your new XP or Vista on a primary partition.
(usually you have three primary partitions and an extended one on a single HDD).
Then, select the partition (with your games or another new one, dedicated) when installing OS.
The new OS will create a dual boot so you can select your OS at PC startup.
Cheers,
Djos
Here is a trick to change partitions : Use GParted on a Linux Live CD of your choice.

Judging from the lack of negativity in your response, it sounds like this is absolutely possible! The catch you have on me, however, is that you're going to have to run me through step by step or I'm likely to kill my computer or erase data in the process.
Excited~!! |

How is it going Apollo ?
Got your new partition and OS ?
Sorry about this but the real issue might be found elsewhere.
What is the game you are talking about ? Is it the unbundled anti-cheat multiplayer software that doesn't work ? |

Thanks for the eager responses, guys. I'm about to go over that duel OS link he gave me and I'll check back here with any questions. |
