Bought 4 hdds to put in raid 0
Bios recognizes all 4
the raid utility will create a raid with all 4 but its not bootable
the os setup also recognizes the raid 4 but wont install on it....b/c its not bootable
If I try raid 0 with 3 or 2 hdds it is bootable
I have updated bios and installed drivers
Not that it matters but for fyi:
Intalling windows 7 64
775 socket mobo
Any ideas how to get all 4 bootable
Thanks |

The 'intel matrix raid controller' can support four HDD's... Have you tried a BIOS update?
What OS are you trying to install? |

Thanks | FAIL.
Only thing I can suggest is to try the hdd's seperatly and make sure they are fully working...

It sounds like a controller issue to me on your mobo, because 3 hard drives is bootable and 4 isn't. These hard drives SATA per chance?
