linksys nslu2 can ping but cannot access

hi ive been given i of these storage units for my home network but the trouble i have is when i try to access it through my router i cant or if i go to the web page and type the ip address in it just doent connet to the home page of the slug i can see it if i ping it but thats it both the power and ethernet lights are on solid green ive been givin 2 of these units but they just seem dead and no joy with the reset please could some 1 point me in the right direction

Did you reset the configuration to the default when you got it?
