5th Hard Drive gone bad in 12 months?

I'm about to go exchange my hd for the 6th time. Yes the 6th every hard drive I get within 2 months dies of the Cyclic Redundancy Error or (CRC). Anyone know what the deal is Ive tried the tools from western digital to test it and it fails every test and windows disk check does nothing? Where do I go next?

Welcome to TechIMO!

There is a chance it could power related - either the power supply or serious incoming AC voltage fluctuations. Does your system support hardware monitoring? If so, monitor the voltages, especially under extended duration loading.

It could also be heat related, as HDDs don't like getting too hot - and it can cause premature failure of the disk...
