Hey guys. Trying to put a 1.5TB hard drive in one of my machines. Cant' get it to show up in the bios. It does pick up my 200GB drive though when I try it. Anyone know what the limit on drive size is on slightly older machines?
Check to see if there are any BIOS updates for the motherboard. That's something I've had to do before.
But AFAIK, anything after XP SP2 should have no problems seeing the HDD.
k8m-800m running a sempron 3100+. I've never gotten it to properly recognize & run with the processor either. It's running at 1000mhz. If you can find a bios update I'd love it. I've never been able to.
