    Stripping 2 to 3 SSD or 1 Ultra fast SSD

     
    One high price SSD drive thats
    read 230 MB/s
    write 135MB/s

    or

    2-3 striped ssd that are

    Read: 150MB/s
    Write: 90MB/s

    I'll be using this setup for my Boot drive windows7
    and I'll be seting it up in the raid in my bios.

    So which setup will be faster.
    AMD x2 5200 3 GB RAM x300 Radeon x300
    Asus M2N SLI Deluxe - 6 HD SATA NEC 4551a - LG GSA-H22N

    Before the SSD was invented the and the question was use

    One Raptor

    or 2-3 striped regular SATA drives

    Raptor was the hands down winner. Not to mention safer.
    Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...
