DVD problems
I just installed a DVD-cd rewriter and it is sata, i have a Biostar TForce6100 754 socket mobo running windows XP pro. Well it says it installed it and device manager shows it with no conflicts...but when i put a CD in it the computer reboots on its own.

Have you installed the chipset drivers? Is winxp 32 or 64 bit version?
Cheers

Drivers might be needed for optical vs hard drive. Download them: ftp://ftp.biostar-usa.com/drivers/Ch...26_WIN2KXP.EXE
