Acronis True Image WD Edition Software
Just bought a WD 320 PATA drive to replace a dying SATA drive.
When running this program, I ran through the initial instructions regarding partitioning and such, and it says that it has to reset the computer after stage 1 of 4. Problem is...my computer hangs (or it seems to be hanging) after the loading of the gagp30kx.sys driver (Windows XP).
How long should it take to clone a 300GB HD?
This is the 3rd time I've run through it and it always hangs at the same spot. If I reset the computer, it runs to the desktop but there's no GUI associated with the Acronis program for further instructions or whatever.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
