External Hard Drive not working properly
I have my music stored on a Maxtor "OneTouch 4" 1TB external HD. While I was using it to listen to music earlier it became unavailable after about an hour. If I click my computer it does not show up but if I go into device manager it shows it as there. If I go into disc management it says it is not initialized. When I try to initialize it, it says 'The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.' I'm not sure what else to do/try. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
~Nick

Go to Computer Management -> Storage and see how the disk is displayed.
