Hi All,

I have a Maxtor one touch 111 (had it for three years) and it stopped working without warning. Power not coming on (power supply light just flickers green and when you switch it off its solid green.

I have had it taken out of the casing and a friend has used the Magic Bridge II device to try and get it going again to no avail. The HD isn't even spinning or making a noise.

Anyone got any ideas pleaseeeeeesssseee of what else I can try because I can't afford to go to a data recovery company.
