Is the WD Caviar Green WD10EARS 1TB 5400 RPM 64 MB good enough to use as primary
I want to use the HD as primary for a Windows 7 OS and I do play a lot of recent high-end games.
Is this WD HD too slow to use as a primary HD and for playing games because of it's low RPM(5400).
It's also the WD green series which means power efficient at the cost of performance. I like to know is this too slow for my needs.
I'm now planning to replace it with a seagate barracuda 7200.12 1TB drive, is that necessary or this WD HD enough for my use?

The green drive should do ok honestly. Load times for some games might be slightly longer, but you shouldn't have a performance hit at all.
