Camera Storage
I want to limit the amount of memory and/ or hard drive space that my camera records to. I run a Windows XP service pack 2 in the office and I want to record daily without taking up a days worth of storage. I thought about an external hard drive as its a little late to partition, but wasn't sure if I could set the camera to copy over existing files.
Thanks
I posted this to Multimedia as well.

What exactly are you recording daily and why is it on your computer? Are you running a webcam and want to save your cam action for posterity?

I am recording with a webcam of my front office with a D-Link DCS-910. I want to record who comes and goes while I am out of the office but not slow down my computer. I am in almost everyday and am not always in when clients and employees enter. I want to be able review certain days but not permanently store the recording.
